New Bici Classica Osaka

A visit to the newly located Bi Ci Classica store in Osaka earlier this month. The new shop is a two minute walk from the original store and still a palace of vintage Italian steel...

The bright and beautifully designed store is absolutely packed with bikes, parts and roadie memorabilia...

The shelves around the shop are crammed with Campagnolo parts. These parts are not for sale, they're used for the period correct bike builds that Bi Ci Classica is famous for...

An amazing shop, one of the few places in Asia where you'll find this much Italian bikeporn. A big thank you to staff member Alex for his time. You can follow Bi Ci Classica on their Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr and Facebook pages.

Bi Ci Classica Bling Build

A rather special custom build shot at Bi Ci Classica in Osaka last week that takes the bling to the maximum...

Those are wooden handle bars hand wrapped with leather grips...

The pump too had been hand wrapped with hemp...

And the entire Campy groupset has been hand drilled...

You can see more of Bi Ci Classica's unique work via their store blog and their Tumblr and Twitter pages.

Bi-Ci-Classica, Osaka

An afternoon out in Osaka today to visit the amazing Bi-Ci-Classica store in Matsuyamatchi. The shop specialize in vintage road bikes but that description does not quite do justice to the simply stunning collection of beautiful bikes inside...

Situated in an old converted town house the store is full of jaw dropping bicycles, all lovingly restored by the store owner Mr Velati...

Some of the more modern frames and bikes in store.
A beautiful 1990's Lemond.
A gold 1980's Cellini.
They even have their own in-house brand, designed by Velati and hand built in Japan...

It seemed that everywhere you looked there was a piece of cycling history on display...

A vintage Bartali.
A Spinergy equipped Sappin just tucked away in a corner!
A limited edition Colnago.
A super cute kid's Pinarello.
An awesome shop stocking some stunning bicycles and parts, an essential must visit for any cyclist who finds themselves in Osaka or even Japan. When Kinki Cycle wins big at the next keirin meeting we will be back to buy that Lemond!
