Dusted

The white stuff arrived in Nara this week. Unfortunately not the Colombian kind but the shitty disruptive frozen kind. The only thing to do was stop bitching, whack on the Karma's and an Ass Saver and go take some shots in the usual spots...

Snodai-ji.

Snow one around.

Snow more puns.

To see some much better photography and less miserable text from the last time there was snow in Nara then go check out Fixed in Nara's recent post

30 Days Of Biking (Final Week)

Green.
Shitty weather last week in Nara meant not many photos taken whilst riding around town. Here's four shots from a quick local spin taken last Friday on the penultimate #30DaysOfBiking...

Wakakusa Run

Combini Stop.
A late afternoon climb up Wakakusa with Mike on Monday...

At the foot of the mountain trail.
A few photo stops on the way up...

Snakes!
The views at the top make the climb worthwhile...

Up at the summit.
The city below.
Waiting for the sun.
Then the descent back into Nara...

Todai-ji.
As always there were deer...

Shika shot.

Shepherd's Delight

A beautiful sunset in Nara today after yesterday's rains. A quick spin around the park taking the usual shots in the usual spots...

Cooling Off

It's starting to get a little hot down here in Kansai. A downpour on Monday night followed by a day of sunshine on Tuesday pushed the humidity levels through the roof. Only one thing to do, head out for an afternoon ride around the park to cool off....

Even the shika are looking hot and bothered...

Ride Before The Storm

Waterlogged

After a deluge of rain these past few weeks there was a let up yesterday afternoon. A chance for a quick spin around a very wet and very muddy Nara Koen...

Shika shot...

Now for a slice of mid 90's obscure British/Asian psychedelic feedback sitar indie...
