Delft Fietswerkplaats, Nara

A visit to the wonderful Delft Fietswerkplaats in Nara last week. Located just 5 minutes from Saidai-ji station, Delft stock a range of beautiful contemporary touring bicycles from brands including Araya, Raleigh and Emperor...

There's a good range of accessories and parts in stock...

Including a rather neat little handlebar bag bracket designed and made by the shop...

Naturally, the store owner rides a beautiful, vintage LeMans, fully set up for some bicycle camping action...

Sugino Super Maxy cranks...

With one of the first generations of Shimano Deore at the rear mech...

A friendly, welcoming and superb little shop, well worth seeking out should you find yourself in Nara.

You can keep up with all things Delft by following their Instagram and Facebook pages.
