Out on the ramps the riding was getting serious with the Elite class putting on an amazing display in the final jam session of the day...

Vintage GT Zaskar

Beautiful bright pink custom GT Zaskar MTB spotted out in Osaka a couple of weeks ago...

A seriously nice build with some old parts still going strong including the Magura hydraulic rim brakes...

Bontrager/Easton post & Thomson clamp...

Since we posted a shot of this bike up on our Instagram the owner of the bike, Stirling Elmendorf, got in touch and told us a little more about it. A 1993 Zaskar that's been rebuilt five times since, the last time by Griacha. Check out a much better drive-side shot of the bike on Stirling's Instagram.

A million bonus retro MTB points for the Onza Porcupine sticker!

Meanwhile in Munich...

Our very good friend Adam Bell sent some photos of a gorgeous Miyata he has recently restored...

And that's not the only thing that Adam has been working on. As a follow up to his superb Bicycle Dictionary Adam has come up with this stunning poster...

A beautiful piece of work, hand drawn by Adam with each part listed in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Japanese. The poster will soon be available from Sim Works in Japan. For international stockists it is available direct from Umwerk in Munich. In Europe it will be stocked at Keirin Berlin, Fixiestube, Suicycle and Schicke Mutze. In North America it's available at Speed and Sprocket, Hoopdriver and C&L Cycle.  It really is a gorgeous and very useful poster, buy one now and make yourself very happy!

Tainted by association? Maybe, but still nice to see one of these bikes rolling around.
