Cycle Mode 2013 Osaka-The Road Bikes

Right, we have about 300 photos from the Cycle Mode show so to keep it simple we decided to split them up into categories. This is for the roadies, the lycra brigade, the carbon heads etc etc...

Pinarello were throwing around the yellow like Van Gogh, when you have ten TDF wins under your belt I suppose you would too...

Boma were one of the many companies that decided to make photographing their bikes a real headache by displaying them on black backgrounds and lighting them from all angles, we did the best we could in such testing conditions!

Where as Kuota used a bit of logic and made their bikes much easier to capture...

The Cervelo's looked nice and pricey as ever...

RTS managed to stand out from all the black on black carbon with yellow decals...

There were a few Ganwell's dotted around the show, mostly as test bikes showing off other company's parts...

De Rosa carried on the pain in the arse to photograph trend using a black background, these were the ones that we could actually get semi decent shots of...

InterMax had a few pricey looking models on display...

Italian maker Geurciotti had some of the nicest looking bikes at the show but one of the smallest stands...

BH kept to the rules of being carbon and costly but at least they had a white background on their display...

TNI had this simple and sleek looking black number on display, promising to be a budget(ish) lightweight straightforward roadie...

Meanwhile Shimano were pushing their new road discs hard, either making up for past mistakes or setting the bar for others to follow depending on your outlook...

They were also pushing the new, "interestingly" named Claris groupo...

Dia Tech Products had a couple of nicely done displays to show off some of their products. Firstly a generic roadie kitted out with the Control Tech range...

...And this Moots was on their Brooks stand, probably just a staff bike but against all the carbon at the show it kind of stood out as Moots tend to do.

Right, the next batch of photos we post will be in categories of MTB, Cyclocross, maybe a track bike post too and then any other random stuff we managed to photograph.  Bear with us, these posts take time!
