Three quick snaps of a beautiful vintage Bridgestone Picnica folding bike spotted parked outside Mamborama in Osaka yesterday...

Bridgestone Chero 20 Klunker Custom

Now this is a cool little build by Bici Termini, a standard Bridgestone "Chero 20" mini-velo customised with a set of Fuji "Bullmoose" bars and CST knobbly BMX tyres  making this possibly the first "mini velo neo klunker" around...

The Brooks Cambium has been pimped with special Katae Japan rivets...

Xie Bicycle Kyoto

A visit to the newly opened Xie Bicycle in Kyoto last week...

Inside there is a large, well stocked workshop for repairs and some rather interesting custom builds...

Outside are some of those custom builds like this very cool vintage Araya Muddy Fox with added Xtracycle...

There are also new bikes from the likes of Tern, Masi and Bianchi...

The Fugeees' Grand Velo

A little backstory to this one. Last week whilst showing Adam around Kyoto we were smoking outside Cycle Garden when a very cool looking dude cycled past. He turned around, came up to us and asked, "do you know Fixed-in-Nara?"! It turned out that we follow each other on Instagram where he goes by the name The Fugeeees, he was riding his very, very cool Bridgestone Grand Velo which we had to get some photos of...

So many cool custom details...

Bridgestone Wild West @ Delft Fietswerkplaats

Custom, vintage Bridgestone Wild West MTB with a ton of character shot at the fabulous Delf Fietswerkplaats in Saidaiji, Nara last weekend...

The shop owner told us he built it up using whatever old parts he had laying around, true klunker style...
