French Flair

A few shots taken at the superb Velo Paris whilst out in Osaka on Christmas day...

They currently have a fleet of beautifully restored vintage French bikes on sale...

And there are always a few very nice, very vintage parts on display too...

It's also worth saying that Velo Paris sell some very beautiful clothes, check out the webshop for more info. You can also follow the Velo Paris parent company Mamborama on their Instagram page.

Vintage Veleclair Mixtie

Well used but still rather classy vintage Veleclair French mixtie bike spotted out in Osaka last week...

Most definitely the work of Velo Paris.

Velo Paris, Osaka

A few weeks ago we posted a photo of a classic French tourer we passed whilst out and about in Osaka. Yesterday we actually noticed the sign next to where the bike was parked and discovered Velo Paris, a wonderful shop specializing in lovingly restored classic French bicycles.

A selection of French roadsters for sale at Velo Paris
The shop is spacious and well stocked with bicycles, retro parts, accessories and a range of beautifully made functional clothing. Parent company Mamborama has it's own in house label, NECESSARY or UNNECESSARY. Owner Tomokazu-san is friendly, knowledgable and very passionate about what he sells.

Located downstairs in the same Annex building is the stylish Cafe Colombia, well worth a visit and the Colombia latte is delicious!
