Vintage #MessLife @ Giracha

Sayaka at Giracha always has some cool reading material that you can browse while you drink your coffee. Here's a few pictures from a very cool early 90's Popeye Magazine documenting the messenger culture at the time (before the trustfund kids and the hipsters killed the lifestyle!)...

Popeye Magazine.

Remember when couriers used gears?!

Beautiful Toyo Frame MTB.

Lids and Spin wheels.

Baglife.

Thanks, as always, to Sayaka, Rene, Tsutumi and the whole Giracha crew.

MTB's @ KNSCX Kyoto

A couple of MTB's shot at last month's KNSCX in Kyoto, first up this lovely unidentified (though it was hanging around the Toyo tent) rigid single speed...

Just so nicely done, loving the red touches on the spokes, c'ring and stem...

Secondly this locally made Titania...

Looking even better caked in mud after the race...
