Trek Y11

A very pimp vintage Trek Y11 MTB spotted in Osaka last week...

With a seriously high end cockpit. Easton Monkey Lite bars, Thomson stem, Chris King headset, XTR pods and Hayes levers...

The less said about the locking technique the better...

Trek Madone USPS @ Rafu Cycling

Gorgeous custom Trek Madone USPS belonging to the Rafu Cycling shop owner...

A beautiful build based around a Dura Ace groupset with Rotor Q-Rings...

Prologo saddle on a Deda post...

Tainted by association? Maybe, but still nice to see one of these bikes rolling around.

Custom Trek Portland

A rather classy, custom Trek Portland shot outside Cycle Garden in Kyoto...

A very nice build with a Brooks saddle, what look like Sycip JJ bars and a porteur front rack. Perfect for city cruising...

And by sheer chance the bike managed to blend in perfectly with the Kyoto taxi parked next to it...

Koriyama Cruising

A few shots from an afternoon spin down to Koriyama Castle with Matt and Mike last week...

Checking out the local wildlife on the way...

Spotted a rather nice vintage Specialized A1 Comp Ground Control MTB...

Spring is finally here! Cheers to Matt and Mike.

Wave Bikes, Okayama

When our good friend Toepfer was here over new year he spent some time in Okayama. Whilst there he came across Wave Bikes and sent us a bunch of photos...

It looks to be a very well stocked Trek dealership...

With some rather nice bits of cycling memorabilia dotted around the store...

Including some USPS bikes and kits...

And Fab's much talked about "Spartacus" Domane frame...

Certainly looks like a pretty cool shop. A very big thank you to Toepfer for sharing these photos.
